Information You Provide Directly

When you purchase a ticket or interact with our checkout, we collect:

• Identity: First name, last name
• Contact: Email address, phone number (optional)
• Payment: Payment card details — processed and stored entirely by Stripe. We never store or see your full card number, CVV, or expiration date.
• Event responses: Answers to any attendee questions specific to an event

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or interact with the checkout flow, we may automatically collect:

• Page views: Which event pages you visit and when
• Cart activity: Checkout form progress (cart abandonment), including partial form fills — collected to follow up if your order was interrupted
• Attribution data: UTM parameters and referral codes from the URL (e.g., utm_source, utm_campaign, ref) to understand which promoters or channels drove your visit
• Device & browser: Basic browser and device type, IP address (collected by our infrastructure providers)

Information from Payment Processor

After a successful purchase, our payment processor (Stripe) shares confirmation data with us including your email, the amount charged, and session identifiers. We do not receive full card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process your ticket purchase and send your order confirmation and QR-code ticket
• Follow up on incomplete checkouts (cart abandonments) via email
• Send event updates, schedule changes, or venue information related to events you've purchased
• Send SMS marketing messages (only if you provided your phone number and consented)
• Build our fan database to better understand our audience and improve future events
• Track sales attribution so we can pay promoters and optimize our marketing spend
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

5. SMS Marketing

We use SMS to send you event announcements, presale access, lineup reveals, and special offers. Message frequency varies based on upcoming events — typically 2–6 messages per month.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing texts. To opt back in, reply START or text us again.

Carrier Disclaimer

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, and US Cellular.

Our SMS program is powered by Twilio. Your phone number will be shared with Twilio solely for message delivery. We do not sell your phone number to unaffiliated third parties.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: As listed in Section 4 — only as necessary to operate our platform
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Fam Sessions, our attendees, or the public

Order and transaction records are typically retained for a minimum of 7 years for accounting and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your marketing profile (fan record, cart abandonment data) at any time by contacting us — see Section 8.

Most Fam Sessions events require attendees to be 18 or 21 years of age. Age requirements are displayed on each event page.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
